Compare how baby animals are alike yet different from one another; then match the babies to their mothers and examine their similarities.

Identify the parts of a flower and determine what it needs to grow. Plant a seed to take home and chart its growth.

The Buzz on Bees (Grades 1, 2 & 3)

From Egg to Chicken (Grades 2, 3 & 4)

Magical Metamorphosis (Grades 2, 3 & 4)

A 3-D exhibit on the metamorphosis of a butterfly. Observe the stages of the butterfly’s life cycle and it’s interaction with the natural world.

Animals Around Us (Grades 2 through 5)

An engaging nature exploration takes students to visit a habitat exhibit where they learn about a glade ecosystem. Children search for a variety of insects and animals that are on display yet cleverly hidden all representing wildlife that lives there. Students also find natural field signs of wildlife who has visited the area. Covers elements needed for life to survive and thrive in an environment. Interactive and lots of fun!

Cedar Glade Wilderness Walk (Grades 2 through 8; great for adults too)

Students are guided on walk through Tennessee's Cedar Glades where they learn about geological land formations. Children learn what the land looked like millions of years ago and how limestone bedrock, sink holes and caves developed. Tour touches on animals that use to live there that are now extinct and on uncommonly seen endangered plants and wildlife found in the glades today.

Phenomenal Fossils (Grades 2 through 6)

Study marine life fossils discovered on the farm. Learn the connection between these organisms and their environment as they existed in the past. Learn about the fossil formation process and match fossils with images of extinct sea creatures.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON: $5.00 per student
