Our Concessions Manager is the "boots-on-the-ground" person responsible for the day-to-day operation of the farm’s concession stands including cooking, baking, prepping and overseeing staff. Kitchen management and/or cooking experience is a plus but not required. Delivering outstanding quality food and excellent customer service are essential. The right person will be extremely detail-oriented, posses the highest standards and expectations for cleanliness, willing to learn, and is looking for a workplace were they can continue to grow and flourish for years to come.
Training provided to perform of all food service roles along with the management of all concession operations for our facility including cleanliness, organization, product quality, customer service, inventory and food safety. This position will require hands-on work in the kitchen when needed, and not just a delegator or paper pusher. We believe the best way to build and motivate a work family is by being actively involved in all aspects on a regular basis, meaning no Manager is too good or above performing any role or task they oversee to help support their team.

YOUR ROLE ON OUR TEAM:
Oversee daily food service operations to ensure highest levels of food quality and customer service.
Manage food preparation and production processes to minimize waste and loss.
Be an active hands-on supervisor creating a friendly fun work environment that staff looks forward to working in and considers team members family.
Hire, train, schedule, and conduct performance evaluations for hourly food service team members.
Create and initiate motivational bonus incentive programs for hourly food service team members.
Ensure all concession areas have packaged food products in display windows and on counters at all times during service.
Maintain and manage accurate inventory of supplies on a twice-weekly basis. Order and pick-up supplies as needed.
Check-in, stock, and store supplies. Ensure stock is fresh and in-date.
Oversee production, quality, and appearance of packaged foods and bakery items we prepare.
Ensure all state health requirements and safe operating procedures are followed according to company standards so that concession are always ready for health inspections.
Prepare food service areas for seasonal opening and closing.
Monitor and maintain updated pricing for cost of goods and retail.
Develop and/or improve existing menu items to increase profitability. Present creative ideas for other improvements, efficiencies, and/or streamlined systems.
RECURRING WEEKLY SEASONAL WORK SCHEDULE:
Seasonal scheduling allows for more flexibility and time off with family during our slower times of operation. We believe this facilitates a better work/life balance and overall higher job satisfaction.
Spring/Summer Seasons (March-August):
- Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00am-5:00pm
- Maybe 1-3 Sundays for private events
Fall Peak-Season (Sept-October):
- Tuesday-Saturday from 8:00am-6:30pm
- Sundays from 10:00am-6:30pm
Winter Season (November-February
- Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
- No Weekends
