JOB DESCRIPTION

Lucky Ladd Farms, an award winning agritourism destination, is looking to add to our hardworking and awesome kitchen crew. Positive attitude is number one! Desire to consistently produce high-quality food in a quick and safe manner also key.

Kitchen or cooking experience is a plus but not required. We welcome experienced restaurant professionals and beginners alike. We’ll provide the training you need to feel confident and work efficiently. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and high-quality experiences and rely on our team members to help create and maintain a fun and friendly atmosphere for each other and our guests. So, while prior experience is great, we’re really seeking enthusiastic, outgoing people, who aren’t afraid of a hard work and looking to grow their skillset.

Part-time and Full-time positions available. Saturdays required, and off most Sundays. No late nights so you’ll be home in time for dinner!

  • Compensation: $11-$16 per hour based on experience and availability.

YOUR ROLE ON OUR TEAM:

  • Prepare, cook, and present food quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Cleaning kitchen and food service areas; restocking.
  • Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and Food Safety standards.
  • Cross-trained on multiple stations.
  • Assembling, cleaning, and maintaining operating equipment: grill, fryers, ovens, warmers, etc.
  • Carefully checking-in and properly putting away food delivered from suppliers.
  • Assisting with bi-weekly inventory counts.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Following procedures to ensure operational and service excellence.

RECURRING SCHEDULE OPTIONS:

  • Tuesday-Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Wednesday-Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pm
  • Wednesday-Saturday from 9:00am-2:30pm
  • Thursday-Saturday from 9:00am-2:30pm
  • Thursday-Saturday from 11:00am-5:00pm

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:

  • Must be 16+ years old
  • Personal attitude and characteristics will contribute to a positive work environment by being a team leader through example such as lending a hand even if it’s not your job, initiative to see what needs to be done and doing it without being asked, find serving others fulfilling, enthusiastic and ready to work.
  • Believe details and quality matters.
  • Previous food service and kitchen experience a preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and guests.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time and can bend, stoop, extend oneself etc., that is required to perform assigned tasks.
  • Able to consistently lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs.
