PUMPKIN TRAIL CONTEST FOR EDUCATORS

CONTEST OVERVIEW:

Join Lucky Ladd Farms for an exciting educational opportunity that combines creativity, literature, and hands-on learning! Our Pumpkin Trail Contest invites K-12 teachers from Middle Tennessee to participate in a unique fall experience that will engage students while supporting classroom learning objectives.

2025 Theme: Storybook Pumpkin Patch - Transform classic children's books and fairy tales into stunning 3D pumpkin displays that will enchant visitors throughout our fall season.

HOW IT WORKS

WHAT YOU RECIEVE:

One 12" carvable foam pumpkin per participating class (provided free of charge)
Complimentary admission tickets for participating class (teacher and students) to visit Lucky Ladd Farms during fall season
Opportunity to win up to a $300 gift card for classroom supplies

WHAT YOUR CLASS CREATES:

A weatherproof pumpkin display inspired by classic children's literature or fairy tales
Decorations using outdoor-rated, waterproof materials firmly secured for outdoor display
Optional backdrops or props (maximum size: 24" wide x 30" tall)

CONTEST TIMELINE:

Entry Deadline: September 1, 2025 (Limited to first 30 entries)
Pumpkin Delivery/Pickup: After entry confirmation
Decorated Pumpkin Return: On or before September 16, 2025 by 5:00 PM
Voting Period: September 18 - October 31, 2025
Winner Announcement: November 5, 2025

One vote per device per day during voting period
Visitors determine the winners based voting for on their favorite

1st Place: $300 Amazon gift card for classroom supplies
2nd Place: $50 Amazon gift card for classroom supplies
3rd Place: $25 Amazon gift card for classroom supplies

ELIGIBILITY

Open to K-12 teachers at public and private schools
Schools must be located in: Rutherford, Williamson, Maury, Marshall, Bedford, Davidson, Wilson, Cannon, or Coffee counties
Limit one entry per teacher
Limited to first 30 entries received by September 1, 2025

PUMPKIN DECORATING GUIDELINES

Must follow "Storybook" theme
Decorations must be weatherproof and securely attached (TIP: Don't use hot glue, temperature fluctuations causes it to soften and decorations will fall off.)
Backdrops/props permitted, but cannot exceed 24" in width and 30" in height
This should be a collaborative class or extra curricular school club project

LOGISTICS

Pumpkin Delivery: Lucky Ladd Farms will deliver a 12" foam pumpkin to the school upon request, or the teacher can arrange to pick it up between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily
Return & Setup Requirements: Teachers must personally deliver completed pumpkins to Lucky Ladd Farms by Wednesday, September 16, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Display Location: Pumpkins will be showcased in together on a trail in a prominent location for optimal viewing

FREE TEACHER & STUDENT TICKETS

Each participating class receives one free admission ticket per student and teacher, valid to visit any day during our fall season. This provides each an opportunity to see their classroom's pumpkin creation on display and VOTE for their pumpkin to win! Maximum number of tickets provided is 40. Teacher receives tickets when they deliver the decorated pumpkin for display. Each teacher is responsible for distribution of tickets to the appropriate students. Lucky Ladd Farms is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

PHOTO/MEDIA RELEASE

By participating in the Pumpkin Trail Contest, participating teachers, students, and schools grant Lucky Ladd Farms permission to photograph, video, and share images of submitted pumpkin displays and student work for promotional and educational purposes across our website, social media platforms, and marketing materials. No individual student identification will be included without separate written consent from parents/guardians.
