Photography and Videography Internship

JOB DESCRIPTION

Build your resume at Lucky Ladd Farms, one of Tennessee's most beloved and award-winning agritourism destinations, serving thousands of visitors each year. Your original work will be shared to social media followers, media outlets and publications, Farm visitors and members. A unique opportunity to showcase your work and practice your skills.
Our goal is to provide interns with an immersive experience. Interns will develop photo and video content to help support marketing and communications. Work will include capturing and producing photos and video footage of the Farm including documenting daily antics of the animal residents; brand storytelling through guest experiences including people during their visit and staff-members; landscapes and architecture around the Farm highlighting cultivation, crops and harvest.

YOUR ROLE ON OUR TEAM

  • Produce media showcasing a wide variety of subject matter including animals, people, landscape and architecture consistent with the Lucky Ladd Farms brand.
  • Take and edit photos.
  • Film and edit short engagement clips and video.
  • Learn and gain experience in brand development, marketing and promotion.
  • Special Project:
    • Create a digital media library utilizing Dropbox. Upload, categorize and tag new and existing photos and videos for shared use and support in the development of marketing and communications.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with photography/videography.
  • Experience in animal photography a plus.
  • Passion for communicating compelling stories through visual media.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate and work with supervisor, sometimes remotely.
  • Understanding of how to work within brand guidelines and the ability to take direction.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Photo and video editing skills including experience with Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie or comparable software.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Must adhere to all safety protocol while on Farm grounds.
  • Physically capable of navigating varied terrain.
  • We are not accepting international students at this time.

SCHEDULE & DURATION

  • Start and ending dates are flexible with a minimum commitment of 10 hours/week for 12 to 16 weeks. Some Saturdays may be required.
  • Attendance to most special events and/or festivals scheduled during internship is required.
  • College students are encouraged to seek class credit, but it is not required. Academic requirements for institution credit are the responsibility of the student intern to fulfill.

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • Hourly wage ranges from $11, depending on experience.
